Lime Crime arrives in the UK!! Plushie lipstick review 🔥

Lime crime is a brand that I have always heard a lot about, but never had the chance of trying…until now!

Just this week, Lime Crime launched on LookFantastic. I had heard for a while it was going to launch, and was so excited!

The lovely team over at lookFantastic sent me one of the Plushie lipsticks in the shade Milk Tea, and I wanted to do a review straight away.

The packaging is so cute, and it’s super fun and quirky design is weighty enough in the hand so that it feels expensive.

The packaging really reminds me of the Jeffree Star Cosmetics velour liquid lipstick packaging, which is not a bad thing!

Shade and formula

I feel that the shade ‘Milk Tea’ suits my skin tone perfectly, which is between light and medium. It is a warm brown nude and I feel like it is a very wearable shade. As soon as I saw it, I thought thats my new go to! I will place a photo below of how the lipstick looks on me 😊

Moving on to the formula, Lime Crime state that this has a satin finish, which I would agree with but I think it sits a little more on the matte side than satin. It dries down completely with no transfer, which I didn’t expect but I love! However, unlike a lot of matte lipsticks this didn’t dry my lips out, which to be honest a lot of matte lipsticks do.

LookFantastic are selling the lipsticks for £18, however they are on sale at the moment for £14.40! And you can use my code ‘MAX20’ for 20% off selected products on the website ❤️

Final Thoughts

I was very impressed with my first product from Lime Crime and I cannot wait to try more out from the brand. I will be using this lipstick shade a lot, and have already put an order in for some of their glosses which look gorgeous!

Have you tried any products from this brand? Let me know down in the comments.

Take care everyone, see you on the next one,

Max xoxo
